Taiwan needs continued strong US political support in the region - so I don't see them as having a very strong position to negotiate, unfortunately
By JohnFen 2025-10-0118:52 Maybe. But protecting Taiwan is a critically important thing if, as it seems the administration is doing, you're planning for war with China. The administration may not have a very strong position to negotiate either.
