While contributing back to ffmpeg is great, this is insanely hyperbolic lol. Do you genuinely think Instagram and Facebook are positive contributions to society?

Is everyone here just ignoring the fact that the 12 year maintainer of this project performed the re-write? Companies cannot do this with relative ease unless they hire these OSS maintainers

How do you know it didn’t look at the source?

I graduated in 2020 and I took a circuit design class and was taught Nagles algorithm. I guess I could have learned more but I thought the degree was packed enough with enough when you consider all the different parts of it, from the math to systems programming to ML stuff.
