I remember doing the same around 25 years ago...!
all in VBScript, god help me
It felt like a great idea at the time, but it was incredibly slow to generate all the HTML pages that way.
Looking back I always assumed it was partly because computers back then were too weak, although reading other comments in this thread it seems like even today people are having performance problems with XSLT.
I am sympathetic to the idea that this was intended as a misdirection
The flaws in the design seem reasonably obvious - any imbalance in the thrust of the multiple rockets on each wheel causing an unwanted steering effect. Also the high centre of gravity and narrow track width seem poorly chosen when stability would surely be desirable.
A mobile Catherine Wheel seems more designed to attract as much attention as possible...
I have some big notes and tbh I find it totally fine (on macOS)
The two things that would make a world of difference to me are:
- having a 'code block' style, preferably accessed via familiar single and triple-backticks markdown syntax - for the Android app to have a "magnifying cursor" like mobile apps are all supposed to have... trying to edit a note and drag the cursor around with your finger without having the little magnifying popup is a complete pain
