  • A name shouldn't be the same as the thing it names.

    When a name becomes free and somebody else uses it, it points to another thing. What that means for consumers of the name depends on the context, most likely it means not to use it. If you yourself reassign the name you can decide that the new thing will be considered to be identical to the old thing.

  • Why would they do the same amount of work with fewer devs when they could also get much more done with the same amount of developers?

  • That's pretty much whataboutism. Also, people who fear false accusations are usually not the same that make women uncomfortable. The majority of men has totally fine behavior when it comes to women.

  • Could be thanks to the Internet and that most of the adults today use Internet and have experienced a bubble before.

  • Do you use it professionally or as your daily driver?

    My experience had been that such plugins tend to need a lot of tuning to work flawlessly, which I don't like to do anymore.

    I like to live default mode for the most part, but for that a piece of technology must be dedicated to a smooth out of the box experience. But all that fancy neovim/dwm/... ecosystem tend to be "we provide you a great framework to create your own things", which is nice, but not for me.
