  • LOL, exactly. All of the weird AGI/doomer/whatever bullshit we're calling it/ feels like exactly this: people who think they're too smart to fall prey to groupthink and bias confirmation, and yet predictably are falling prey to groupthink and bias confirmation.

    If the LLM overhype has taught me anything, it's the Turing Test is much easier to pass than expected. If you pick the right set of people, anyway.

    "LLMs are intelligent" / "AGI is coming" is frankly the tech equivalent of chemtrails and jet fuel/steel beams.
