i cant wait for the world to catch up to process, session, et al. calculii. the closest i’ve seen is all this “choreo” stuff that is floating around nowadays, which is pretty neat in itself.

that's just not even remotely my experience. and i am ~20k hours into my programming career. ai makes most things so much faster that it is hard to justify ever doing large classes of things yourself (as much as this hurts my aesthetic sensibilities, it simply is what it is).

this is why working at mckinsey seems like a horrible proposition to me, personally

but yet somehow none of those guys ever manage to accomplish it
